About Me

Tree Stories was established by me, Theresa Rielly, in 2021.  I have been researching family history for over 25 years for myself, friends and family.  My research is focused primarily on New Zealand, Australian and UK research. I have a background in history, research, archives and librarianship.

I have completed the Professional Learning Certificate in Genealogical Studies (English Studies) from the International Institute of Genealogical Studies.  Other qualifications are Postgraduate Diploma in Information Studies (Library) from Victoria University of Wellington and Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Waikato.

I am a current member of the New Zealand Society of Genealogists (NZSG) and have been involved in indexing projects for Family Search and the NZSG.
