What is included in the final product?
It will depend on the type of research commissioned. In general for most of our standard research packages you will receive a detailed report of the research findings, a family tree, copies or originals of any documentation obtained, and a full list of all sources used.
All research will be done according the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS). This standard ensures that the conclusions made from evidence found are sound.
The GPS has 5 components:
Reasonably exhaustive research.
Complete and accurate source citations.
Thorough analysis and correlation.
Resolution of conflicting evidence.
Soundly written conclusion based on the strongest evidence

You will receive with the completed research a detailed and itemised list of time spent researching and any additional costs for transport, certificates purchased and research costs.

Talk to me about doing your extra research. The amount already paid for the research completed will be deducted from any further package or research cost.
