Any information that you give to me will be kept strictly confidential and will not be divulged to anyone, including other family members, without your express permission.

Please be aware that no family tree is ever complete, and there can be errors. I will do my best to ensure that all information I receive on your family is verified and double checked. It is not possible to guarantee results until initial research is undertaken.

1. Tree Stories provides a free initial consultation to make sure we understand your requirements and you are aware of the service we provide.

2. All the research is supported by official documents which will be supplied as part of the final report.

3. Please note that I do not trace the whereabouts of living individuals.

4. Your research will be carried out based on the information you provide us. Tree Stories will not be responsible for any errors held in this information. This information can be substantiated for an additional fee.

5. Regular contact will be made with you throughout the research process using your preferred method of communication.

6. If you require the research to be completed faster than the time frame provided in the initial consultation this could be possible for an extra cost.

7. Sometimes I may reach a dead end in the research and not be able to proceed further. In this case I will inform you and agree with how you would want me to proceed. You will only pay for the work done if this happens.

8. A log will be kept of all the work I undertake in your research and this will be included with the final report. It will allow you to see how we produced your tree.

9. A 20% deposit is required for all research prior to the work starting. The balance will be due on completion of your research. The final report will be sent on receipt of the balance due.

10. When you ask Tree Stories to begin your research you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
